The Irene Village Market at the Big Red Barn is an arts and crafts market. The market has received many accolades from the likes of various magazines and newspapers, provides an environment bringing together artists and patrons alike while offering excellent family entertainment. Only original art and craft are traded with exhibitors and their wares undergoing a strict selection process.

The market is famous for its South African handmade arts and crafts and is situated on the beautiful grounds of the Sunlawns Estate that overlook vast grasslands and the Kaal river.

The Big Red Barn offers all kinds of fun things such as Acrobranch and Segway for the kids, a 20km to 30km mountain bike route, a 5km to 13km trail run and a unique Olifants Cafe at the Barn. 

Note that we are dog friendly so bring along those four pawed friends on your outing!
